How many guests can stay at Villa Shulan?
Villa Shulan comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests across four king bedrooms, each with its own private ensuite bathroom.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 12:00 noon. Villa manager Nyoman greets every guest personally, hands over the keys and shows you around.
Can late check-in be arranged?
Yes, just let Nyoman know your arrival time via WhatsApp and he will be there to greet you.
Is a security deposit required?
No security deposit is required for direct bookings.
How does direct booking work?
Select your dates and number of guests to see availability and the full price. Booking is completed through Lodgify with a secure checkout, and payments are processed via Stripe.

Is Villa Shulan suitable for families?
Yes. With four ensuite bedrooms and spacious indoor and outdoor living areas, the villa comfortably suits two families or a group of up to 8. A child-safe pool fence is available – please confirm with Nyoman ahead of arrival so it can be set up for your stay.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately no, the villa is not suitable for pets.
Are parties or events allowed?
Small gatherings are fine, but please be mindful of noise. Villa Shulan is in a quiet residential part of Umalas and we value our relationship with the neighbours.
Can additional visitors come to the villa?
If you are expecting guests who will stay overnight, please let Nyoman know in advance.
How fast is the WiFi?
Villa Shulan has 300 Mbps fibre WiFi, suitable for video calls and remote work.
Is the kitchen fully equipped?
Yes, the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, and a welcome fruit basket awaits on arrival.
Is laundry available?
Yes, there is a dedicated laundry room, and daily housekeeping (except Sundays) keeps the villa tidy between 10am and 1pm.

The villa is in Umalas, Bali, minutes from Berawa, Seminyak and Canggu.
How do I get around?
We recommend renting a scooter for the many shortcuts around Umalas, or using the Gojek app for rides and food delivery. Nyoman can also organise a private driver for day trips, sightseeing or airport transfers.
Is the neighbourhood quiet at night?
Yes, Umalas is a quiet residential area, while still being close to the nightlife of Berawa, Seminyak and Canggu.
What is nearby for food and coffee?
Warung Dua Umalas is a local favourite for Indonesian food, and Monsieur Spoon (about 600m away) is great for coffee and pastries. Da Maria (Italian) and Leon Brasserie (French) are both around 5 minutes from the villa.
What is included in my stay?
Daily housekeeping (except Sunday), drinking water, WiFi and standard linens are included. Nyoman and his team also maintain the pool and garden twice a week.
Can I arrange a private chef, driver or massage?
Yes, all available on request through Nyoman, including an in-villa massage, a private driver or babysitting.
Is there support during my stay?
Yes. Nyoman is available by phone and WhatsApp throughout your stay for anything you need.
What if something is broken or needs fixing?
